TikTok PROXY for Android

Bebra PROXY for Android comes from Google Play or as an APK, and it can leave chosen apps outside the PROXY. TikTok goes through the country you picked, while your bank or a delivery app keeps your usual connection.

Three steps on Android

  1. Install Bebra PROXY

    Bebra PROXY for Android runs on Android 10 or later. Google Play is the usual route. For a phone without it, the download block at the top of this page also has the APK and a Yandex Cloud mirror of it. Skip modified TikTok APKs from other sites, since they ask for your TikTok login and nobody vouches for what’s inside.

  2. Tap a country

    Nothing to register. Until the account has a subscription, a country tile opens the Buy Bebra V⁠PN sheet, trial and plans included, instead of connecting. When you first connect, allow the connection request from Android.

  3. Restart TikTok

    Restart TikTok so it picks up the new connection.

Leave some apps off the PROXY

A banking app may refuse to work over a PROXY while TikTok needs one. On Android you can do this per app. Open the Tunnel tile, pick Manual in the Split tunneling window and leave the address box empty.

The part you want is Apps that bypass the V⁠PN. Select apps lists what’s installed on the phone. Tick the bank, a local delivery service or anything that should see your home IP address, and Bebra PROXY leaves them outside the tunnel.

With Android’s Block connections without V⁠PN option on, excluded apps get no internet at all. Bebra PROXY shows a warning in that window when this happens. The switch is in Android’s own V⁠PN settings, not in the app.

In this mode, traffic to the listed IP addresses, subnets and domains will go directly, bypassing the PROXY.

Stop battery saving from cutting the PROXY

On some Android phones, battery optimisation shuts the PROXY down while the app sits in the background. TikTok then falls back to your normal connection.

In Bebra PROXY, open Account → Settings. If you see a Battery saving block, tap Add to exceptions and let the app ignore battery optimisation. Once it’s exempt, the block disappears.

The feed didn’t change after connecting

The TikTok app also looks at your SIM card and phone region, and they can outweigh the server’s address. For comparison, open tiktok.com in a browser with Bebra PROXY on. The site can’t read the SIM, so it only sees the PROXY country.

What if my phone has no Google Play?

Install the APK, which needs Android 10 or later. Sign in with e-mail, Telegram or a one-time code, and subscribe on the website, since in-app payment goes through Google Play. There’s a separate page for Huawei.
